2010 Camaro Fest Wrap Up

Thanks to the Camaro fans who participated in this year’s MTI Camaro Fest and made it a success!  We couldn’t have asked for a smoother running event.    Getting such a large group of cars safely on and off the track wouldn’t have been possible without such a good group of drivers.  We would also like to give a special thanks to Kooks Custom Headers, Magna Charger and John Thornton Chevrolet.

The day started with a quick driver’s meeting  and then everyone was on the track for a few parade laps.  After drivers were accustomed to the layout we began the race car lead hot laps.  Speeds increased through the day as drivers, allowing drivers to push their Camaros in ways that would be impossible on the street.  It was very rewarding for everyone at MTI to see drivers become comfortable behind the wheel of their Camaro at speed.  If you missed it, make sure you come next year or participate in one of our other track events.  Give us a call and find out how you can get on the track!
